6011100352 ER316L Stainless TIG Wire 2.4mm 5kg
£77.94 (inc VAT)
Features and Applications
Austenitic stainless steel wire that has a low carbon content.
This reduces the possibilities of intergranular carbide precipitation.
This increases the resistance to intergranular corrosion without the use of stabilisers such as niobium or titanium.
The presence of molybdenum provides creep resistance in a halide atmosphere.
Ideal for joining and surfacing of stainless steels of similar composition (CrNi and CrNiMo steels/cast steels).
Including low-carbon molybdenum-bearing austenitic alloys.
