Clean Air AdBlue is the solution to reduce emissions from Diesel vehicle engines and generators.
AdBlue® is a colourless, odourless, synthetically produced, 32.5 percent solution of Automotive Grade Urea in demineralized water. AdBlue® is non-toxic.
Since 1992, European legislation has required lower particulate (PM) and Nitrous Oxide (NOX) emissions from on highway diesel engines.
To help meet the even lower levels of NOX emissions set with the introduction of Euro 4 in October 2006, OEM’s introduced selective catalytic reduction (SCR) to nearly all on highway commercial vehicles.
This technology requires an aqueous urea solution called AdBlue.
